While work is progressing in the studio (wall paper and wall tiles finished, kitchen being installed, …), Chantilly is, once again, preparing to host the most prestigious horceraces. The 2013 racing season begins this Saturday, March 2 (you’ll find races to come here).

Chantilly is a land riding: landscapes, forest roads, open spaces and footpaths plant decor very friendly riding enthusiasts, and amateurs alike. Did you know that this city is the largest center of horse training activities in France ? Chantilly is a benchmark for European training centres, with almost 3,000 horses on site every day. 45% of the starters for races held in the French capital come from Chantilly’s training centre. On this unique estate covering 1,900 hectares, the elite of the horse racing world has the use of 120 hectares of flat tracks, 120 km of sand and dirt tracks and a hundred-odd jumps. About two thousand area residents are directly or indirectly employed in this field.
